…but check back from time to time to see what’s new.
It’s a place full of nostalgia for games that have had a major impact on the gaming industry today. We remind you of the best games of the 80s, 90s and 00s.
Why these years you ask? – The answer is simple. In these years, the best games were created that defined the market for years to come. Classic titles have also been created for almost every genre. And all this was achieved without widespread access to the Internet and programming knowledge at our fingertips. Once someone had access to the Internet, there was no point in looking for tutorials, assets, scripts and support from the international community. Of course, there were already such giant companies as Nintendo and Atari. But we believe (I want to believe) that the best game concepts are born in small teams of developers – dreamers. Somewhere in tiny suburban offices or even homes.
Either way, games were created that we love to play to this day. The next generations of players reach for classic titles, their remakes and sequels because they get the very essence, challenge, fun and a lot of space for our imagination. This is how we define a gamer’s happiness… or happiness in general.
…if you don’t have family or loved ones…but I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
…family is the key!
…sometimes work…and extra hours.
…because you know, mortgage, insurance and gas…and why everything is so expensive?
…and that’s why we all like to have fun from time to time!
The plan is to regularly present games that were created in Eastern Europe. I will try to choose titles that did not achieve international (and sometimes even national) success, although, let’s say, they were as good as productions from North America, United Kingdom or Japan.
There will also be a lot of interesting facts from the region and the time in which these games were created.
Did that sound scary?
And all this in English**, especially for you!
The most boring part of my gaming hobby. Playing old games, recording it, editing the best moments, uploading to the channel. For now, you will find only gameplays and walkthroughs from not the newest but popular games. All without commentary, just pure gameplay.
Writing descriptions is a real pain in the ass. For now, I’m just watching how it all works and I want to gain any kind of audience.
Plans for the “further” future.
The plan is to create a program on a channel where I will be able to present old games produced in Eastern Europe. Some of them will still remember the Iron Curtain, and others will be the result of the creative work of a regular McDonald’s customer.
As I am Polish (which means, for many of you, almost Russian), there will be plenty of threads about our Slavic lifestyle. But it will be more about life than style, if you know what I mean. You can look for style in Italy or France. The east side is the best side. Come on, everyone knows that.
Hello everyone, my name is Damian and I am from Poland. I was born in 1986 and I always knew that one day I would have my own gaming website… [site under construction]
*Did you understand? Boring!
**English with many errors both in writing and speaking with the addition of a Polish accent. But I’ll just try my best not to sound like Niko Bellic from GTA IV. Sounds fair enough? Just kidding, I don’t care.
